The ARTS - Animal Rescue and Transportation Sling was presented at the EME - French Army Military Riding School

A very nice presentation of the ARTS - Animal Rescue and Transportation Sling was given at the Military Riding School in Fontainebleau (the main residence of the French Army's riding horses).

The demonstration took place in the EME's equine clinic in the presence of military veterinarians, firefighters and private veterinarians from the south-east of Paris. We were also honoured by the presence of the chief veterinarian of the Republican Guard stationed in Paris.

The ‘patient’ horse was suspended for 45 minutes in the ARTS, also known as the Zurich rescue sling. This sling can be used to transport horses from the scene of an accident to an equine clinic or as a suspension sling for horses that are unable to stand during rehabilitation.
