Imperium BEL, 2008, dark brown gelding by Chatman, Holst and Noscapine van Houtheem by Codexco BWP
Bought from 5 years, this magnificent dark bay gelding possesses all the qualities of a very good jumper. His father Chatman, Holstein (by Corofino I and Goldküste by Lord Calando) is very often victorious in Grand Prix under the saddle of Ludo Philppaerts. The mother’s father Codexco (by Codex and Uriel du feu by Près du feu XX) possesses too an impressive sporting career and a descent which has already showed its ability. Imperium had no experience of competition. He was an approved KWPN stallion in 2013 and was castrated by the previous owner. Stéphane Montavon began him in 2014. Imperium wons Derby classes until 125 cm. He was also placed with his rider until 140 cm. He begins in 2019 with a young rider his new carreer as Showjumping School Master.
I was lucky to have this very intelligent and truly gifted horse for show jumping in my stables ...
This horse called Imperium is very aptly named, it was a little lion then very quickly, it was imperial ... It showed me that when the quality is there, all the training of an exceptional sport horse is that a game in which I have always participated very willingly for 5 years ...
He is fortunate to have found a very young, gifted and instinctive rider, who has already had a brilliant 2019 season.
Bravo Jeanne and all my wishes for success with this Crack !!!
