The Alogo Move Pro sensor with its innovative technology is currently being validated by the Department of Equine Sports Medicine in Zurich (Prof Michael Weishaupt) together with a team of Swedish researchers (Prof Lars Roepstorff - SLU Uppsala and MSc Christoffer Roepstorff) using a device called Qualisys or QTM (Quality Track Management). This validation phase was carried out in February 2021 at the National Equestrian Centre in Bern under the leadership of Dr Stéphane Montavon, DVM and Chief Veterinary Officer of the Swiss Armed Forces. All parameters from the Alogo Move Pro sensor with a focus on stride length, stride height, actual trajectory on the jump, angle and power of the strike were analysed in great detail. The first results are promising and already show excellent accuracy. This validation is an ongoing process and will be followed by scientific publications that will initiate new research and development of the Alogo Move Pro device.
